EllisKnight are the exclusive Search partner for this exciting Insurance Product Development & Proposition Manager opportunity. The Insurance Product Manager role will offer a hybrid or remote working opportunity where you will need to be UK based and able to attend ad hoc meetings at their head office based in Buckinghamshire.
The role is for an Insurance / Insurtech experienced Product Manager to join this exciting automotive membership club and Insurance business. This role will be responsible for leading and delivering the product development strategy and product roadmap and will be a key position supporting an exciting phase of change across the organisation.
The ideal candidate must have Insurance Product Management experience coupled with the commercial acumen and strategy skills that are needed to add real value in a role of this nature. A strong customer focus is needed within this role and you will be familiar with using customer and industry data to shape the success of your products, propositions and customer strategy.
KEY OBJECTIVES:
- Ongoing enhancement of existing products and the introduction of new products and solutions.
- To work with the global product team ensuring an alignment of priorities and the delivery of a product and risk approach in line with purpose and appetite.
- To manage the day-to-day relationships with Carriers ensuring a joined approach to product development, risk management, reporting and analysis
- Manage the day to day relationships with key partners in the insurance journey such as RAC breakdown and Lawshield.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the tracking of new initiatives in line with threshold performance measurements, defining reporting requirements to then ensure the ongoing development and recommendations for improved product performance.
In addition you will:
- Identify enhancements of current products and pricing that drive UK growth and profitability.
- Analyse potential micro-segmentation opportunities.
- Provide a deep level of analysis of existing and future initiatives.
- Work with the key stakeholders to identify opportunities, and target markets to drive growth.
- Drive decisions based on analytics and proven results.
- Develop reports, analysing results, and recommending strategies for growth and retention with specific focus on optimising existing and creating new product offerings for the company
- This includes analysing; Production and loss trends, competitive data and other internal or external data, in collaboration with team members and partners, to identify new or custom products or pricing that enhances existing UK models.
